Education Committee: The
Education Committee assesses the educational needs of the
membership and develops and coordinates the educational goals,
plans, and programs of the Association. The Education Committee
also develops the educational program for the annual meeting and
such other meetings and conferences as may be scheduled by the
Board of Directors, acts as a clearinghouse for information about
educational opportunities in courts, provides educational articles
for the Association’s newsletter, the Legal Pad,
recommends funding plans for educational programs, and develops a
long-range educational plan for the Association. The Directors are
members of the Education Committee. The President appoints one of
the Directors to chair the Education Committee.
